The brief we start from
A gentle story about a pet who has died. I want it to be honest — not to pretend the pet is coming back or has gone somewhere sunny — and to end with my child able to carry the animal with them in the remembering.
This goes to the storyteller exactly as written, as though you had typed it yourself. Everything after it is about your child.
