The brief we start from
A story about learning to do the thing that looks impossible — swimming, riding a bike, the high slide. My child keeps stopping at the edge, and I want a book about the moment you finally let go, and how ordinary it feels afterwards.
This goes to the storyteller exactly as written, as though you had typed it yourself. Everything after it is about your child.
